Save the date - to the beach we shall go! Join me in Mendocino and Fort Bragg this summer for a 2 or 3 day watercolor and urban sketch workshop. On Friday we will meet at David’s Cafe and have brunch and instruction before heading off to the Cabrillo Lighthouse. Later we will relax at the Inn with a view and capture the harbor scenes as we enjoy an early dinner or happy hour. Join us on Saturday morning for a walk through the Dahlia filled gardens, stopping to paint and photograph the many inspirational scenes and flowers. There is so much to sketch and paint! After lunch we will head to Noyo Harbor where there is no shortage of boats, nets and buoys to capture on paper. That night we will be in for a treat - a Paella cookout and potluck. Sunday, let’s meet in Mendocino for a wonderful coastal view and later, after lunch, a stroll through town for street scenes to paint. We will focus on taking photo references and painting on site, putting people in paintings and capturing light.
